About Processing In Miami (“Miami address”).

Each tracking number represents an individual package (“Shipment”), even if the shipment includes multiple items and/or documents. Each individual piece of a multi-piece shipment will be treated as an individual shipment and will be charged according to the Aeropost Service rates.

Aeropost reserves the right to refuse receipt of shipments if it is found that they have been opened, tampered with or damaged prior to arrival. Aeropost offers a service for each shipment and does not offer a Consolidation Service. Aeropost does not transport cash, drugs or other items prohibited or restricted by the legislation of the United States of America or the destination countries. Aeropost is responsible for reporting these violations to the appropriate government authorities.

In order to avoid delays in service, Aeropost reserves the right to assign a market value to any item not pre-alerted that doesn't come with a document (invoice) indicating its value at the time of inspection at our operations center in Miami. .

Compliance For Miami Processing Service (“Miami Address”).

Aeropost complies with all applicable laws of the United States of America and of the destination countries when offering the Aeropost Services. To enable such compliance, you agree to provide Aeropost with legal and accurate information about your Name, Address, telephone numbers, email and payment information when necessary. Pricing and payment for Miami Processing Service (“Miami address”) and Correspondence

Aeropost offers Customers an updated rate table here http://aeropost.com/site/en/bring-rates . Aeropost reserves the right to modify its rates when necessary and without prior notice, according to market conditions and supplier prices.

Purchases that arrive at the Miami address will be subject to additional charges related to transportation to the destination country, and Customs Duties, as determined by local authorities.

Aeropost will carry out all the necessary steps to clear items from Customs, without prior authorization from the Customer, for all shipments that have a CIF value of less than USD $1,000. Aeropost is not responsible for additional charges made by any financial institution or payment platform chosen by the Customer to pay Aeropost services. Aeropost offers Heavyweight service for some Latin American and Caribbean countries under its Miami Processing Service (“the Miami address”). To use this service, the minimum weight of the shipment is 40 KG. Any shipment below this weight does not apply for this service, and would automatically become a regular shipment.

All packages received at Aeropost to Heavyweight accounts will be held until the time the shipment is scheduled and, consequently, its release.

AEROPOST.COM ORDER PROCESSING

By purchasing through Aeropost.com, you are contracting the services of Aeropost.com, an entity legally constituted under the laws of the United States of America. Purchases made by Aeropost.com (“Orders”) are intermediary transactions and Aeropost is not the seller of record.

Compliance for Aeropost.com Orders

Aeropost.com complies with all applicable laws of the United States of America and the destination countries when making sales through Aeropost.com. To enable such compliance, you agree to accurately provide Aeropost.com with the following legal information:

  • Provide your name, physical address, phone number(s) and email

From time to time, Aeropost may offer coupons and promotions. Each coupon or promotion may have additional terms and conditions specific to that coupon or promotion. Customers will only be able to avail of coupons and promotions through one account. Coupons and promotions may not be used in combination with other promotions or coupons. REFUNDS, RETURN SERVICE, NEW PURCHASES & GUARANTEES

Return Service for the Miami Processing Service (“the Miami address”).

Aeropost offers you the service called Return Service, where the CUSTOMER may, through our company, carry out the process of returning purchases abroad, for which he must have the mechanism called Return Merchandise Authorization, hereinafter called RMA and issued by your Vendor abroad. All imports will be valued for the amount or invoice in the first instance provided by the Customer during the pre-alert or the documentation provided for the customs process, whichever is less. Return Service Coverage

Reimbursements

Under Valuations and Presumption of Abandonment (exclusive for Chile)
